Hit Your Hydration Hard!

As a full-time personal trainer I often have to remind my clients to keep hydrated, especially if you're exercising outdoors in the Florida sun! So here are my top tips to make sure you stay on top of your hydration.

1. Not a frequent water drinker? Try sprucing up your water by adding a few simple ingredients. Limes, lemons, mint, oranges, berries, cucumbers, and other fruits improve the taste without artificial sweeteners or preservatives. This can help you drink more water than you usually do, too.

2. Eat more "water-rich" fruits and vegetables like watermelon, strawberries, grapefruit, peaches and cantaloupe. Other good options include cucumbers, lettuce, zucchini, celery and tomatoes.

3. Proper hydration isn’t just about drinking water. It’s about regulating your body temperature, too. During summer and often into the fall wear light, loose-fitting clothing in light colors; do strenuous and physical activities during cooler times and protect yourself from the sun with hats and other shade accessories!

4. Often water is not enough support for proper hydration levels. It's so important to maintain hydration levels during and after exercise and that's exactly what this vegan electrolyte powder dietary supplement is designed to do!

Featuring a blend of electrolytes including sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, this tropical berry-flavored vegan dietary supplement powder is formulated to hydrate before and after you work out.
