With Thanksgiving quickly approaching & Christmas just around the corner, you have to remember that you don't have to feel guilty over enjoying good food & family time, you can choose to enjoy it in the best way possible!
You don't have to have a strict calorie-counted Thanksgiving but you can have a healthier Thanksgiving.
1. The holiday season is a time for celebration & gratitude. With busy schedules & many extra temptations, it's a good time to think about weight maintenance instead of strict losing or gaining.
What can you cut back on but still enjoy?
2. Try to resist the temptation for seconds. Leftovers are much better the next day for lunch or late dinner & if you limit yourself to 1 plate on the day then you're less likely to overeat & have more room for an awesome dessert, what will you be choosing? Pumpkin pie? Cake? Cookies?
3. Most of all, remember that Thanksgiving and the whole holiday season is not just about the delicious feasting of food and drinks. It’s a time to celebrate family & friends appreciating what you have right in front of you.
The main event should be socializing, spending quality time together & not just thinking about what is on the buffet!
