My Journey...

Hi, I'm Lindsay!

Believe it or not, I wasn't always a personal trainer & wellness coach. I spent most of my career behind a desk in a banking job that paid the bills. I didn’t hate my job but I didn’t love it either. 


I didn’t appreciate exercise & proper nutrition for years & it finally caught up with me. Sometimes it’s a picture of ourselves that triggers change, sometimes it's cancer, diabetes or other chronic illness. Whatever it is, it’s up to you to do something about it, so that’s what I did.

I joined a gym & started going on my lunch break. I downloaded “couch to 5k” & started running in the evenings, on the weekends & began eating better. I’ll be honest, it was difficult to adopt these changes. I had to get uncomfortable to get comfortable & that’s, well, painful.

People would give me a hard time for turning down lunch dates for the gym & questioned how I managed to say no to the treats. I stayed focused on my 'why's, which was family, health & self-confidence. 

Over time, others started asking me about fitness & joined me at the gym! Many of us had established a healthy habit during our lunch breaks. It felt great to inspire others. That’s when I realized I had to help others live their healthiest lives. After 18 years in banking, I was done. 

I found a new passion. I was on a mission of spreading wellness to the world. I could no longer measure my success by my title, paycheck, or the balance in my 401K. I had to measure my success based on how many people I could help in a day, a week, a month.

It hit me hard that I was allowed to DREAM BIG. That was the moment I made the decision to pursue a career in Personal Training.
